Adding a single image to a page.
If you just want to add a single image onto your web page, it is better to use the text editor than to create a photo gallery for just that image. The rich text editor has a feature which allows you to add an image either from your desktop or from our file manager.
In the example below, we want to add an image in the highlighted block on the right.
To add an image, we are going to create a new text file by clicking the New Text button in the web page editor toolbar. This will launch our text editor.
In the text editor, there are two different places to add images from, the file manager or from your desktop. Click Insert Image to add one from your file manager. Click Upload Image to add one from your desktop. We are going to add an image from our desktop by selecting the image and clicking open.
Your image will now appear in the text editor. The text editor is better for single images because we get the full image size in the block instead of creating a thumbnail. You can also resize an image in the text editor by clicking on the border of it and dragging it bigger or smaller.
Once you have added your image, close the text editor and the image will appear in your block.
