Add video and audio to your web page
Several popular video hosting services allow you to upload videos to their sites, and then place them onto your website by using HTML code that they provide to you.
You can take this code and put it into the HTML source panel of the text editor to add video onto your site. To do this, follow the steps below.
Step 1. Upload your videos to a video hosting service. We have tested three services: Google Video, You Tube, and IFilm, and found that all three will let you put videos on your Blockstar website.
Step 2. Find the HTML code to add onto your website and copy it. All three services will have a place near the video where they put code that you can copy onto your website. This is what that code looks like on Google Video.
Step 3. Go to the Blockstar Website Builder and open the page you want to add your video to. We are going to add it to this page below.
Step 4. The text editor has a tab on it called HTML Source that can take any type of HTML code. This is where we are going to put the code from the video service. To do that, click on the New Text button, and launch the text editor.
Step 5. Now click on the HTML Source tab at the bottom of the rich text editor, then paste the HTML code from the video service between the two <p></p> tags. Like in the picture below.
Important: The video will not appear in the Website Builder so your block will look empty. You need to publish your web page for your video to appear.
Step 6. Close your web page, then in the file manager publish your web page by clicking the Publish button.
Step 7. View your webpage and see the video on it. Once you publish your page, go to your website by clicking on the View Website button, and then pull up your web page. Your video will be on the page.
You can add audio to your website the same way. Just find a service that provides embedded audio code and follow the steps above.
